Historic Southern Coast Tour Details

Natural beauty, flavorful cuisine, a distinct culture, unique history, and more than a few dashes of good ol’ fashioned charm make up this tour of the South. Experience Southern history and hospitality in equal measure on this incredible Southern coast vacation!

There isn’t a dull moment on this trip through Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. History buffs are sure to be delighted by Charleston’s Revolution-era past on display at The Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon. Discover the city’s significant role in the Civil War at Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the war rang out on a spring day in 1861.

In Georgia, a major highlight promises to be the Jekyll Island Trolley tour of the Club Historic District, a cluster of 19th-century mansions on the southernmost of the state’s Golden Isles.

Sports fans won’t soon forget their time in North Carolina, where they will visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte. More than just a museum, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is a shrine to the history, heritage, and future of NASCAR. It has over 50 interactive experiences, fascinating artifacts, and an impressive collection of retired racecars.
